экологический след
Экологический след – это метод, по которому можно приблизительно определить размер территории в гектарах, которая требуется для производства потребляемых нами ресурсов (например, тепловой энергии, моторного топлива или продуктов питания), а также для переработки, захоронения или включения в природные циклы образовывающихся при этом отходов. Если используется больше ресурсов, чем земля способна вынести, человечество ведет себя противно принципам устойчивого развития.
Экологический след измеряют в т.н. общих гектарах на человека в год. Один общий гектар соответствует территории размером в гектар со средней для Земли биологической плодородностью.
